“Truffles" was unraced.  She was our first thoroughbred mare; she bred a foal by a showjumping stallion before coming to us.


Her sire won as a 2-y-o and 3-y-o when trained in UK before moving to USA where he won the Breeders Cup Mile as a 5-y-o.  Her dam is a half-sister to winning hurdlers/chasers 'Wizard of Edge' & 'Carnt Spell'.  The 2nd dam is a half-sister to Crews Hill (Steward's Cup H'Cap) and from the family of Classic Cliche (St Leger Stakes Gr 1, Ascot Gold Cup Gr 1, Dante Stakes Gr 2) and My Emma (Yorkshire Oaks Gr 1).
